  • Hello fellow BBS fans! What are some fun stories you have had on here?

    I'll go first: a while ago (I'd say, like '09) I got onto the BBS for the first time in a while (not sure which one) and i was greeted with mail from someone pretending to be the sysop, and they weren't being rude or anything, they just sent a different dad joke to everyone on-line.

    LOL, some BBS packages will auto-post a welcome message to new users. I
    wonder if that sysop set his up to send random dad jokes to people?

    If they did, that is pretty genius! :D
