  • text string issue

    From MRO@VERT/BBSESINF to digital man on Fri Apr 15 01:50:38 2022
    so i've upgraded one of my bbses.
    i still get "Logging on to XX as XX" no matter what I do.
    i have blanked out line 826 in text.dat by changing it to ""
    then i did "@POFF@"

    It still displays this.

    is there something i'm doing wrong here, or do i have to do a replace_Text command?

    No, just changing the LoggingOn string in ctrl/text.dat (string #826) is all that would be necessary.
