I'm very pleased to say that Yankee Trader is now running with simultaneous multi-node play enabled here at ConChaos. This is thanks
to DOSBox-X, a special version of #DOSBox that adds tons of nice
features, two of which are essential for old door games: working socket-inheritance and file sharing/locking between multiple instances. I've documented my setup at: https://conchaos.synchro.net/yt_info.html#dosbox In addition, I've also been running a second YT game, with missiles disabled, to prevent
players from spamming missiles to probe the galaxy.
Ciao!

It even had support for Windows 3. So Windows applications would also
run as X applications and it was even possible to use them from remote (just like normal X applications).

On another note, does anyone know of a DOS SSH client that can
talk to an SSHv2 server?
