Have you watched, listened, or read anything about the far reaching and invasive mandates being passed down regarding immigrant visa's and social media? Other than the ultra right progranga machine called Fox News?

In order to obtain an immigrant visa, or if you currently are in the United States on an immigrant visa, you are being required to register all of your social media acocunts for the past 5 years, carte blanche!

This is not part of ongoing investigation where law enforcement has a reasonable articulate suspision that you have commited a crime, and just like the fishing expeditions cops go on, asking questions not related to an encounter, or traffic stop. They are fishing for informatino to match you to a crime, which is highly highly SUBJECTIVE. While your posts on social media might be public. The 4th and 5th amendments which immigrants are protected under, legal status or NOT! Are protected from.

I will be anxiously awaiting the supreme court ruling, if it is ruled constitutional, I will be disapointed but I'll shut up.. Until then!

BTW: Whether you like it or not, buring the flag is also protected under the 1st amendment.. The Federal government and state law makers make tried countless times to pass laws banning the practice, but the supreme court has always struck it down! God Bless our constitution!

My wife is from the Dominican Republic and through her I now have several family members entering the US legally. In the last couple months I had a niece finally get reunited with her family... She, and their youngest daughter, was separated from her husband and oldest daughter for 5 years as
they work the process legally.

Back in ~2008 Lebanon had a bombing I had a friend die... He was getting a hair cut and someone blew themselves up... from what I know it was related to Syria... The mother of his kids, and 3 of the 4, were left behind illegal in the US.

Oldest son, ~ 5 years ago became a citizen... His mother now has a Green Card and his youngest brother now has a Green Card. His young sister is still illegal... I think she qualifies as a Dreamer, she was a baby when she was brought to the US...

Apparently there are ways to become legal even if you were illegal at some point while in the US....

BTW, I knew someone just a few years ago enter the US, from what I could see, as "Illegal". I called the "Son" in the above story to ask him what he did to become "Legal" and I took that information and helped her become legal. She received her Green Card just before Biden was kicked out of office. She can apply for citizenship in late 2027.

I cared enough about her and the process of being LEGAL and I learned about the process to help her. It's not hard.

I personally went through the process and I know others who have went and are going through the process. And it's perfectly normal for a country to vet the people legally trying to enter the country.

This isn't true... They are not asking questions to try to find crime, or narrative, that fits whatever argument. The current Administration wants immigration they just want legal immigration.

*Acts involving torture or genocide?

*Killing any person?

*Limiting or denying any person's ability to exercise

There are ~ 100 questions like this on the Green Card app... The list is long and all questions need to be answered to get your Green Card and or Visa.

Notice the last question, Limiting or denying any person's ability to exercise religious beliefs?, If you answered No to that question and you are found on FaceBook chanting Death to Israel... Or you later show up to University, lets say Columbia, chanting death to Israel and blocking some Jewish students from going to school... You might have lied on your visa.

I have already explained, and will not reiterate. Google the 4th and 5th amendment, and as I already explained and provided the corresponding precedence set by the Supreme court that REGARDLESS of your legal status, immigrants are protected by the 4th and 5th amendment.

Don't care if there are 100 or 1,000's of questions on the green card application. As there are constitutionaly legal ways of finding information about someone on the internet, government databases, etc. That can be used to vet applicants without coercing people to have to list ALL their Social Media accounts in the last 5 years.

"Those who choose security over freedom deserve neither..". Sad sad sad, that American's in the last several decades have chosen the same type of Government invasion of privacy, unconsitutal acts. That others have fought (Sometimes with their lives) to protect! If you want this kind of government control I have a list of countries you can go live in.
