I blame you (archlinux) for that. Have you ever ran an official gnu
release of gcc ever? gcc-16.1.0 is the latest.

But I'm just guessing at this point.
From what I noticed here, your gcc was 6.1.1 showing the same date as
the official 6.1.0 release, which is what I was using to compile the
latest linux-7 branch. Due to a combination of senility and boredom it prompted me to throw caution to the wind as far as gcc-16.1.1/linux-7 is concerned.
Sounds like standard operating procedure to me.
I definitely had 16.1.0 installed here before 16.1.1.
