Hi everyone,
I discovered that ArcaOS' version of JFS and Linux's version of JFS are not compatible contrary what is said on the Internet. So I set up an ArcaOS VM
in Virtualbox and was able to successfully transfer my old filebase to the
new BBS via FTP and using ncftpput in the VM.
I also learned that VMWare Workstation does not get along with ArcaOS.
It took me about three hours to figure it all out. It was worth it as so
not to use sneakernet and a USB stick.,..
