I've seen snow in Little Rock as late as April 19 on 2 occasions since moving here 45 years ago...and my cousin in Erie, Pennsylvania, doesn't
plant hers until after Mother's Day.
My flower gardens usually consist of things that grow from bulbs, so
they were planted once and then come up when they decide to. :) Most
of them seem to be able to stand some cold after they have started up, just as long as it does not last too long.

This cold won't last that long...they're talking of a threat of severe weather here Monday into Tuesday...with rain to snow today (Friday) into Saturday.
Yeah, it should be back into the 40s tomorrow, and near 60 on Monday.
I am worried that the temps today (not getting to 30) might take a
toll. We will see.
