who knows nowadays. i have some emails from a castlerock bbs and it looks like he was running worldgroup. last one was nov 2021

i also have one from aug 2022 where i was reporting an issue to his feedback email but i got no reply.

I sent another email to his feedback one on his domain and his gmail one.

apparently his real name is kevin goebel and he runs a website that looks like 1995. http://kevingoebel.com/
he should be about 68 years old. he probably lives and works in janesville,wi got nothing for him on facebook.

don't see any obituary on him.
it could be that his system is down and he doesn't know, or it's down and he doesn't care. his webs are still up; he's using deerfieldhosting.com

not sure if anybody knows him personally and can call him up.

I do all my msg networking now via nntp with synchronet. It's really easy to do and if you know a little javascript you can call external scripts on it.

It's easier than ftn (I've used irex, radius, and other softwares) and quicker than qwk (setup wise). I recommend giving it a try.

I'm portscanning this dude right now because i'm genuinely concerned.
Right now I am not getting anything on his ip. I scanned his bikP port and got nothing.

We are living in shitty times so would be good if someone who knows him would try to reach out to him.
