    Hello All,

    So the pain wasn't going away in my ribcage so I went to the VA (veterans' hospital) ER.

    Turns out I have three broken ribs.

    Now I know why I've been in so much damn pain! They gave me all of 9 Lortabs (narcotic painkiller) in the ER.

    The VA treats anyone who is on opioids as an addict and is overly careful because you know, three broken ribs isn't painful.

    Hopefully my primary care doctor will be able to get me some more when I run out of these over the weekend.

    At least I'll be able to sleep the next few nights.

    Thanks, me too. I knew that much pain couldn't be coming from just a bruiaed rib. I have a fairly high pain tolerance due to my Charcot foot but this was crazy painful.
