    From ozeqa@ozeqa@tilde.institute to tilde.art.music on Sat Jul 25 02:29:59 2026
Anyone here go to raves in their area? I feel
like its a really joyous way to play and have
    fun with friends! ^_^

Such a smile to let loose and be whimsical.

    Do you go to raves?

Do you listen to electronic music?

If you haven't gone to any raves, why not?

    Do you want to?

Did you used to go to raves?

If you do listen to edm, what types?

    No.

Do you listen to electronic music?

Electronic as a category is actually quite wide, and I dislike
(to the point of disdain) quite a lot of it; but I do make few exceptions
in piece-by-piece basis, usually around chiptune, synthpop/electropop,
and to less extent, disco. [1]

And even among these exceptions, I can only enjoy them on my own speakers
or earbuds, which kill off the most of their obnoxious edges
(on both bass and treble) and make them bearable for me.
The volume level I normally listen music is also quite low:
low enough that things like mopeds speeding pass the outside of my residence could aurally "run over" it.

    So I don't tolerate these music on other people's amps;
much less in any kind of "concert".

If you haven't gone to any raves, why not?

Most kind of concerts (*especially* electronics) destroy my hearing,
and make my titunus worse. I came to know these the hard way,
because while I don't go to (and actively avoid going near) such venue,
these "concert" sometimes came to be held near my residence.

And now my ears ring all the time when I sit in a library.

The noise limits in my city are there (it is actually a crime to exceed it), but woefully unenforced. I wish anyone who forced me to endure such music against my will, rot in jail and burn in hell for eternity.

    Do you want to?

No; see my answer to the last question.

Did you used to go to raves?

    Never did, and never will.

If you do listen to edm, what types?

None. EDM specifically is actually the one of music genres I hate the most; exceptions of specific songs I could endure in there are very few
    and far between.

    Peace,
    ~xwindows
